Shakespeare's Globe
About
My main research interests are in material culture, gender and early modern drama and culture. I have worked at Shakespeare's Globe for 7 years and published articles, essays and two books. I am currently leading the research for the reconstruction of an indoor Jacobean theatre at Shakespeare's Globe and working on three books: one is a monograph entitled Shakespeare and the Hand and two collections of essays, Shakespeare and the Effects of Performance, co-edited with Tiffany Stern, and a collection of essays on Indoor Playing in Early Modern England. I co-convene the MA in Shakespeare studies with King's College London.
